When I don’t know who I am, I’m prone to being what someone else wants me to be; therefore, I’m interested in learning to know myself. I know that I don’t have to fit into anyone else’s emotional atmosphere. Nor do I have to manipulate others to fit into mine. When manipulative games are going on, it’s important to connect with the little child within me and reassure it that I love it, and that together we’re going to get through this. I call upon my Higher Self and accept its love and wisdom.
We’re not here to please other people or to live our lives their way. We’re here to learn how to love ourselves and to love other people unconditionally. All our experiences are part of the richness and fullness of our lives.
