AngelPaths - Page of WandsToday’s Card of the Day is the Page of Wands - Angel Paths

The person represented by the Prince of Wands will be an active, energetic person, with a warm and generous heart, and a good sense of humour. He will have a natural and infectious optimism about him, tackling every aspect of his life with enthusiasm and vigour.

He will be friendly, gregarious and open in his attitudes, possessed with a very healthy sense of his own value, but also supportive and encouraging to others. You’ll often come across him in working areas where healing, encouragement and development are involved.

The apparently easy-going happy-go lucky exterior conceals a deeply rooted moral sense. At his best he typifies the ’shining white knight’ principle - always ready to stand up for what is right, and good; willing to fight to protect those who are more vulnerable than himself.

If the card comes up to indicate an inner response, rather than an actual person, it will signify rising confidence levels, and a positive attitude to life. This card is often the result of overcoming fears and surmounting obstacles which have previously hindered us, or held us back.

Today’s Affirmation is: My life has no limits. It is filled with boundless energy.

AngelPaths Tarot - Three of WandsToday’s Card of the Day is the Three of Wands - Angel Paths

This card - Lord of Virtue - represents our trueness to our own inner needs and inspirations. It represents a point of inner balance where we are clear about the things we want to create in our lives, and confident in our ability to make our dreams come true. Out of this clarity and confidence arises a new quality of self-reliance and happiness.

We develop a new understanding of our virtues, our skills, our talents; we have a better view of what we have to offer and what we need in return. We become more aware of ourselves, and more in harmony with the Powers of Light.

When this card comes up in your reading, it is important that you cast aside doubts and fears, refusing to fall back into old habits. Instead you must turn your face to the future, trusting in your own power, making no compromises. Trust yourself, and everything else will fall into place.

Today’s Affirmation is: I live out my beliefs in all my acts.

Conflicts Resolve Into Tranquility

Angel Paths - Two of Swords tarotToday’s Card of the Day is the Two of Swords - Angel Paths

Timely: Last night I asked for some direction on what’s next? As I uncover my inner conflicts the only option is to integrate hold them up to the light and see if they fit within my truth in this moment. To me that can only mean one thing. Tranquility. It’s a double-inspiration as I also am seeking to bring to light some of the world’s hidden conflicts. Too cool!

The Lord of Peace is a friendly Sword, which comes as something of a relief when we have spent so much time dealing with his more belligerent cousins. However it must be noted that the card often comes up to indicate that a conflict has been resolved or a breach healed, so there will have been trouble earlier on.

It indicates that a painful and difficult situation is being reconciled. Friendships are rebuilt, old wounds are healed. However in this context it is very important to look carefully at the cards which follow it, for there is often a feeling that a relationship will never be quite the same again as it was before the conflict or quarrel. If the 4 of Swords comes up nearby, this is a clear indication that one should remain cautious and thoughtful, not giving too much in the way of trust, for some time. If the Moon was up in the reading, we would be forced to consider the possibility that all is not as it seems.

At an inner level, the 2 of Swords really comes into its own, for it marks the period of tranquillity and calmness that can arise when we have finally made difficult decisions, and acted upon them. Often it will come up to show that, now we have got to grips with our confusion, we can rest and recover.

The card will also come up to show that we have let go of old fears or anxieties that were holding us back. It’s a still card indicating a time to rest and recuperate.

Today’s Affirmation is: Conflict resolves into tranquillity.

The Man I Am

Angel Paths - Knight of Wands tarotToday’s Card of the Day is the Knight of Wands - Angel Paths

Timely: I compare myself to that “ideal” image. The guy I used to be before I woke up out of my sleepwalking through life. Now I strive to integrate the old with the new and evolve into the best me I can be!

The man represented by the Knight of Wands will be a loving and open-hearted person, with a strong sense of morality and a great sense of humour. He will be active, energetic and willing to help. You often find these types of men in the healing professions, or in other areas where they are required to assist, guide and support others.

He’s a man with a deep respect for life and all living things, attuned to Nature and to the creatures of the earth. He has a deep well of compassion which spills over readily to anyone who needs his help, but he also has the restraint to know when too much assistance is a bad thing. Then he will act to enable and empower, rather than to assisting.

He’s a faithful, and dedicated family man, being fully engaged in the domestic situation. His life reflects his high ethical standards, though he is not given to sermonising, nor standing in judgement on others. He could be defined as an idealistic realist - accepting the frailties of the race, whilst doing his best to strengthen it.

His faults spring from his good points - for instance, he dislikes causing pain, and will therefore delay when he needs to act if he thinks it will hurt other people. He will sometimes remain in limiting or painful circumstances because of this. His sense of rightness and duty is intense, and sometimes drives him to make foolish choices and decisions. He will shy away from conflict and unpleasant situations, especially when these arise as a result of his own needs, though he will never walk away from a struggle on behalf of somebody else.

If you are regarding this card as a spiritual change, then see it as an indication that the warrior of right and light is required - you’ll need to stand up for something that matters, and which is unable to defend itself.

Today’s Affirmation is: I open myself to my own success.

Deep Inside Ourselves

Angel Paths - Nine of Wands TarotToday’s Card of the Day is the 9 of Wands - Angel Paths

Timely: As I read more and more about Huna and prepare for the upcoming intensive, I am pointed (often) to signs that what lies in the subconscious is a blessing. Although we may have beliefs that were programmed in a long time ago, which could be having us create patterns in our life that “seem” wrong, in the end they offer a contrasting canvas that we can observe and refocus on something much more in alignment with our true nature. This is great stuff!

When we reach deep inside ourselves, with a heart that is unafraid and accepting, we will discover new depths of strength and power. These deep reaches of wisdom, which lay dormant with in the subconscious until we are brave enough to search them out, will bring balance and equilibrium. And from new centredness will arise an unshakeable trust in ourselves that will carry us forward through life.

It’s true that when we travel deep inside ourselves, we will also find material that we might prefer to leave unacknowledged - but the 9 of Wands, Lord of Strength, reminds us that in being true to ourselves we release energies that will help us to deal with whatever we find within. And after all, whatever lies inside our own subconscious is, for better or for worse, a part of us.

When the 9 of Wands turns up in a reading, we can be re-assured that we have what it takes to get by. Even in times of stress and difficulty, inner strength will rise up to guide us forward toward our goals. And in the process we shall learn more about ourselves and our abilities, gaining a new all-round perspective which brings security and self-confidence.

This card tell us to trust ourselves. We have everything we need. There is no necessity to analyse nor question. And absolutely no excuse to give in to doubt!

Today’s Affirmation is: I acknowledge and grow into my strength.
